Join us in the Volume One Gallery for an opening reception for local artist Denise Presnell's solo gallery show! Although her imagery is rooted in nature (and in particular forest and water subjects) her style is abstract in direction. Presnell uses oil on canvas, acrylic and oil paint stick on canvas, and a unique medium incorporating oil on Plexiglas mounted over oil pastel on linen mat board. The work expresses a sense of personal freedom. Stop by on Friday (Aug. 31, 6:30-8:30pm) to meet the artist and see her striking work.
