Starting the week of May 23, the Eau Claire Health Department’s Environmental Health Lab will begin monitoring the level of bacteria in area beaches. Although closings may change your beach day plans, they are for the safety of all beachgoers.  Exposure to bacteria in the water can make you and your family sick.
