The Chippewa Valley Railroad offers train rides on mini train (one-quarter of the size!) replicas during the summer months through the beautiful woods near Half Moon Lake in Carson Park. Featuring coal-fired steam locomotives, a diesel locomotive, and wooden 1880-style passenger coaches, streamline passenger coaches, a gondola car, and one caboose, you’re sure to get an authentic – albeit tiny – experience.
