Business Insider determined the most popular brand of liquor in each state. Given the Sconnie love for Old Fashioneds, Wisconsin's most popular brand is a bit surprising – Captain Morgan. See the full list below.

A few things stand out here. Forty-two states have a whiskey as their most popular liquor (and clearly the most popular of those are Fireball and Jack Daniels). Wisconsin is one of only a couple states that prefer rum, and it's the only state that gives its love to Captain Morgan above all others. I've always associated rum with a more coastal or tropical climate, but I guess it makes sense when, um,  you consider the thriving Wisconsin pirate ports of Sheboygan and Manitowoc?
