U.S. Junior Kubb Championship

July 10 • Eau Claire Soccer Park • 9am
Held the same weekend as the U.S. National Kubb Championship, the little ones are welcome to register for a  team of their own, playing against other kids up to age 12.  Sign in at 9am and begin at 10am. Minimum two players on a team. All teams are guaranteed three matches.

Ren in the Glen: A Renaissance Faire

July 25, 10am-6pm & July 26, 10am-5pm • 1442 Dunn St. Croix Rd., Glenwood City
Journey back in time to a place of magic and wonder, of chivalry and knights, of tradition, dancing, music, and ancient delights. Possibly the closest Renaissance Faire in our area this summer, take advantage of this weekend of Renaissance and Medieval festivities and pageantry.

Pottermania

July 31 • Fall Creek Public Library • 10-11:30am
It’s Harry Potter’s birthday! Muggles and witches of all ages and abilities are invited to celebrate. Make your own wand, try your hand at locating the golden snitch, and more activities will be available.

 

Summer Fest & Family Night in the Park 2015

Aug. 1 • S. Barstow St. & Phoenix Park, Eau Claire • 11am
During one of downtown’s biggest festivals of the year, Barstow Street is open to pedestrians only and features all kinds of entertainment, kids activities, food vendors, a car show, and more. Afterwards visit Phoenix Park for a family-friendly film screening.

Ashley For the Arts

Aug. 6-8 • Memorial Park, Arcadia
A family-friendly festival produced by Ashley Furniture, enjoy a weekend of live music, sky lantern launch, hot air balloons, car show, fireworks, inflatables, youth art area, aquatic center, playground, and much more. Five dollars gets you in for all three days.
