Endless Alphabet: fun with the ABCs
In Endless Alphabet, kids can learn their letters and a whole bunch of new words in a fun and imaginative way. The app functions like a puzzle in which letters for a certain word such as “alarm” are scattered around the board. As you tap and drag each letter to its proper place in the word, it bursts to life with its own little personality. Once you pick up the “L,” it starts making a “lalalala” noise until it gets put in its spot. The “M” makes a ‘muhmuhmuhmuh” noise, the “A” an “ah-ah-ah-ah,” and so on.
Once all the letters are in the correct place the word comes to life and celebrates before a crew of cute little monsters take over the screen and act out what the word means in 10 seconds or so. For example, if the word is “bellow,” a little red monster lets out its deep voice and frightens another monster, then you move on. There are over 60 words to play around with and more can be added.
The app’s creators, Originator Inc., have an entire slew of similar educational games – including Endless Numbers, Endless Reader, Endless Worldplay, and Endless Spanish – all featuring adorable monster helpers and simple functionality.
The app ranges from $4.99 to $6.99 across a variety of mobile platforms including iOS and Android.
