If you were to squeeze a whole birthday party into a box, what would you include? Cake mix and frosting, of course, plus plates, napkins, and maybe some small toys, party favors, candles, and balloons. All of these goodies (and possibly more) can be found inside the Birthday Boxes assembled by RSVP Volunteers through Western Dairyland Community Action Agency. The boxes are available free of charge to families in need in Eau Claire, Buffalo, Jackson, and Trempealeau counties through Western Dairyland’s offices in Eau Claire and Independence. Last year more than 100 boxes were donated to kids who otherwise might not have had happy birthdays.
