Nickolas Butler

Shotgun Lovesongs, the debut novel by Eau Claire native Nickolas Butler, is about four friends born and raised in the fictional, small Wisconsin town of Little Wing. It's gotten quite of bit of media hype even before its debut, has been called "impressively original" by The New York Times, and may even appear on the big screen soon as the novel's movie rights have already been acquired by Fox Searchlight.
