Valentine’s Day is coming up and The State Theatre is once again offering their “Sweet Notes” singing telegram service. For delivery on February 14, they’re selling different packages aptly named for what you receive. Packages start at $35, with the “You’re too cute” package, and go all the way up to $100 for the “Heartthrob” package. Each package comes with a personalized message, at least one single long-stemmed rose, and your choice of song from a variety of tunes including such classics as Randy Newman’s “You’ve got a Friend in Me.”

And yes, they will once again offer the beloved classic “Thank You for Being a Friend.” YES, THIS ONE.

Here’s a rundown of the 2013 offerings. Even if you don’t have a Valentine, who wouldn’t want to see their friends get embarrassed in front of everyone when he/she is presented a rose and serenaded with the soulful styling’s of The State Theatre? Call 715-832-2787 to reserve a time.

All the proceeds go to benefit The Eau Claire Regional Arts Center which not only makes it a fun time, but also beneficial to the community.
