WARNING: On Thursday of this week, we will invite our arch nemesis back into the Volume One World Headquarters for a battle of wills. She visited last year, thoroughly decimating the will power of our entire staff. She left us defeated. And embarrassed.

As you may remember, our arch nemesis is a cute little Girl Scout (above) selling delicious Girl Scout Cookies (also above). And on March 15 from 4:15-6pm, she will return to The Local Store (17 S. Barstow St.) the peddle her addictive confections. We don’t really remember what happened last year, as our memories of the battle are lost in a haze of Thin Mint chocolate and Do-Si-Do crumbs. And we can’t promise what will happen on Thursday.

HOWEVER: What we can promise is that anyone who comes in and buys at least one box of cookies gets a 10% discount on their entire Local Store purchase. So come to the store on Thursday. And join us in battle.
