Saturday: Come fest with us
Downtown Eau Claire’s biggest festival all year long – International Fall Festival – is set to pop off on Saturday (9/17) at 10am. (The international community has been fully alerted.) If you’ve never been, it’s pretty cool. They shut down Barstow Street and turn it into a pedestrian mall where you can peruse all sorts of international food stands and international merchants. There’s an international stage with international performances all day (including some totally hot international clogging action), a petting zoo, and a big ol’ parade at 3pm.

Sconnie Sale at The Local Store
Make sure you stop down to 17 S. Barstow Saturday and say "Hi" – we'll have a double-wide booth in front of the office and we’ll have the doors exuberantly flung open so you can peruse The Local Store all willy-nilly. On this most international of days, we'll be celebrating the nuttiest nationality of all: Wisconsinite. Anything in the store with the word Wisconsin on it will be 10% OFF. We got a lotta stuff with the word Wisconsin on it.
