City Council meets Tuesday night in response to Gov. Walker’s proposed budget adjustments

Tonight at 7pm, the Eau Claire City Council is meeting "to consider a resolution opposing provisions of the budget adjustment bill proposed by Governor Scott Walker.” The meeting will be broadcast on Community Television. From a press release sent from the City Manager’s office:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that City Council President Kerry Kincaid, at the request of City Council Members Mark Olson, Thomas Kemp, and Andrew Worthmann, has called a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Eau Claire on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 203 South Farwell Street, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
The purpose of this Special Meeting will be to consider a resolution opposing provisions of the budget adjustment bill proposed by Governor Scott Walker.
This notice is pursuant to the provisions of Subchapter V of Chapter 19 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
According to their Facebook page, our noble Community Television station will be on hand to broadcast the meeting live at 7pm. Their government channels are (digital) cable channel 994 or analog 97 (otherwise cable channel 993 or analog 96). The also recorded Gov. Walker’s talk at McDonough Manufacturing Company.
