I once knew a girl who

Loved the color purple
Missed her father on weekends
And woke at 8 a.m.
She liked school
And never brushed her hair
She slept with her stuffed animal
And went to sleep with her night light on.

NOW

She paints her nails blue,
Goes to the mall with friends on weekends
And doses till noon
She hates school
And spends hours getting ready
Her stuffed animal got thrown away
And sleeps in the dark with her music on.
