Beneath the surface of the aquatic roof
Is a world like no other
Creatures that can move
With no arms or feet
Just fins and tentacles
Creatures that don’t sleep
But are always on the move
Living things we can’t see
Eating or eaten
Living beneath us
Is a place full of life
Full of color
Full of fish
Too many species to name
Fish that glow with color
Sea anemones dangerous to all
But the clown fish
Coral that is fragile
Complete the wondrous look
Of the reefs
Fish of different shapes and sizes
It’s just fantastic
When you see its glory
You think it’s magic
It would be amazing
If I could see real life
On the coral reefs
