Before any living thing took place on earth
Wind was here first
Wind gives life to things that never will have hearts
Or brains or pulses or veins neither bones nor blood
You don’t need any of that to be alive
You just need to move
Move in your own ways
Walk sway skip turn or flip
Just do it
But some can’t do it alone
That’s why wind blows
To tell those who may never know what was here first
Before dinosaurs roamed or before plants began to grow
Wind was here first
That’s what scientist miss and facts don’t show
Because without wind nothing would live
How would plants grow or flowers bloom?
And without that how would animals live
How would we live?
The answer is wind
