The sky was like a light bulb
So bright
Shining in my eyes
There are trees surrounding me
I don’t know where I am
I think I’m
Lost
The trees are walls
I can’t see over them
Under them
And they’re too thick to be able to see around them
The wind was laughing at me
Like it was taunting me
Because I was lost
And had no clue where to go
It seemed like the light from the sky was running away
It was leaving me
In darkness
So I knew I couldn’t stay here
So I ran
Just hoping to find a little cabin
Or something in these woods
Something or someone who could help me get home
All I had was my hope
And my gut
So I had to trust my gut

Keep hoping someone will hear my screams
