Justin Vernon. He's Big on the Twitter.

It’s no Grammy, but I’m sure Justin Vernon is honored nonetheless to have been named one of Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Tweeters in Music. Vernon, who is known to his loyal tweeties as J.Vern or @blobtower, came in at number 20 on the list, sandwiched between Lil Wayne and Wavves – an artist I’ve never heard of but who is described by Rolling Stone as a “pop-punk brat” who “takes smug potshots at celebs and hooks up crucial photos of [himself] playing drunk golf.” Obviously good people to be associated with.
Here’s what Stone had to say about Vernon’s Twitter feed:
Why You Should Follow Him:
Kanye's bearded falsetto-toting muse big-ups bands, offers in-studio updates, provides links to funny viral videos, and talks sports. Casual, but focused.Characteristic Tweets:
"anybody out there; i'm coming up on finishing the biggest thing i've ever tried to do and 'm feeling overwhelmed with gratitude"
"Packers! NFC Championship! Mike Mcarthy, Don Driver for Prez! In Rodgers We Trust!"
Of course, that second tweet was probably characteristic of every single twitterer in Wisconsin last Sunday. If you want to check out the rest of the list, which is of course topped by the hilarious Mr. West himself, check out the link here. If you want to heed Rolling Stone’s sound advice and follow Justin Vernon so that he can one day overtake 50 Cent for a spot in the Top 10, head on over here.
