Christmastime in the City
Downtown Eau Claire celebrates the holiday season with their annual Christmastime in the City event. Schedule of activities: Noon-3pm: Lunch with Santa in the Greenbriar Room of the Ramada Convention Center ($5, children under 18 mos free). 1–4pm: "Make and Take" crafts at the L.E. Phillips Public Library. 1-4pm: Free horse-drawn wagon rides on the corner of Barstow and Grand. Hot chocolate, cider, and a fire to warm up with will be provided in the Four Corners Lot. 4–4:30pm: Carols sung around the Christmas Tree by the cast of Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild’s production of White Christmas in the Four Corners Lot. 4:30pm: Christmas Tree Lighting.

Bridge to Wonderland Parade & Open House Downtown
Over 50 illuminated musical floats, horse drawn & walking units make this parade one of a kind. Enjoy free hot chocolate as you watch all of the magic of this Christmas tradition. Open House at participating businesses, carolers, ice sculptures and in-store gift certificate special all day before the parade, plus horse-drawn wagon rides through Irvine Park and downtown.

This isn't like that.
A 1993 Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes: Part One: Millennium Approaches is set in late 1985 and early 1986, as the first wave of the AIDS epidemic in America is escalating. The play weaves multiple stories together that range from Earth to Heaven; from the political to the intimate; to the visionary and supernatural. This play has mature content, and is for adult audiences only.
