As promised by Wisconsin lawmakers, new texting whilst driving laws go into full effect (yo) on Wednesday. As of December 1, if you’re caught texting while operating your car, truck, van, pickup, Smart car, ice cream truck, el camino, or any other vehicle – you’re going to get fined. First time violators will be fined $20 to $400 and get four points knocked off their license. Second time violators can get fined $200 to $800. Third time offenders go directly to a special place in Hades where they sit in a dark room listening to a ringtone version of Do the Hustle for all of eternity, while their family and friends grow old and eventually pass away. Wisconsin is one of 30 states to pass such laws.
