Depending on the audience, the sub-sub-genre of the Nazi zombie movie Dead Snow could sound like the best or worst of cinematic offerings. But it received rave reviews from audiences at Sundance, promising that this Norwegian horror comedy will be a favorite for genre fans. In the film, a group of friends think they’re in for a trip filled with skiing, drinking, and hooking up, but a defrosting band of Nazi zombies have something else in store for the vacationers. ARTS | Patricia Mayhew Hamm: Searching for Abstraction is a showing of 30+ new works by Patricia Mayhew Hamm. Most of them were created within the last year. The artist creates work with fluid acrylics, watercolor and other mixed media. There are many textured pieces created with various acrylic media. Come meet the artist. (L.E.
