This Weekend: Scary Clowns
The Village of Terror near Chippewa Falls is spooky fun 4-7pm with carnival rides (free this weekend), magic shows, clowns, haunted hayrides and more. The village is filled with shoppes, music and good things to eat. But after dark, stay if you dare and rave the dead! It’s the Vampyres Ball, 7pm-midnight each night featuring a finalist in the Scariest Band in the Valley contest and the Bates Hotel House Band. The carnival continues as the hayride becomes haunted, the town is taken over by zombies, vampires, ghouls and freaky creatures come to party. Costume Contest nightly, leading up to Halloween. SCARY | Ski Sprite Haunted House the Asylum: The Ski Sprites Annual Haunted House, The Asylum will make you insane with fear. This Haunted House is not for the weak. ARTISY | DeLong Middle School Art, Craft and Music Fair: This event features more than 60 art and craft vendors along with concessions, many raffle items (including a signed 2009 Packer football) and door prizes. Enjoy music from DeLong choir students, Memorial and North Orchestra students and community performers. All proceeds benefit DeLong extracurricular activities. ROCKY | Rouge Valley + South Farwell: With his new band, Rogue Valley, Chris Koza will be performing at The Oxford with support from local favorites South Farwell. Rogue Valley set out to release four albums in four seasons. City Pages called their first album "a stunning debut".
