Menomonie’s “pizza theatre” to reopen in November
V1 Staff |

Hey, let’s not allow Eau Claire theaters to grab all the headlines. We followed up on an email about the news of Micon buying the Greng's movie house empire and POW. More local movie news.
State Cinema 4 in downtown Menomonie is still undergoing interior work, but Manager Dana Neil said she wants to open by November. After being closed for more than a year, they are painting and will be getting new carpet and seats within the next months. It’ll be a second-run theater much like downtown Eau Claire’s Budget Cameo Downtown Cinemas, and will also feature independent limited releases (woo!). There will be basic concessions as well as the much missed pizza, cheese bread, and garlic bread. Depending on how big of a seller these items are, Neil said they would add more options. Ticket prices will be $4 for adults and $3 for kids. Showtimes will be in the evening with matinees will be on Saturday and Sunday.
