If you only go to one meeting all year long, this should be it. It’s on Wednesday, and it’s about Hastings Way.

The Hastings Way reconstruction project is one of the most important opportunities presented to us right now, and the workshop on Wednesday is basically your only change to provide a high level of input. This is our chance to fix that giant concrete river, dividing neighbors from the businesses on the other side, creating an intimidating and dangerous rift, unfriendly to pedestrian and bike traffic. This is our chance to remake it into something that not only works, but is something we’re proud of.

Wednesday, June 16, 4-6:30PM, Regis High School, 2100 Fenwick Avenue, in the cafeteria.

It's a workshop to sit down and really go over ideas and concepts for the Hastings Way reconstruction project, sketching things out and providing valuable input. Participants will be in groups at tables and can envision whatever they'd like to see for the street together, then show those ideas to the rest of the group. Should be very creative, fun, and interesting.

Light snacks and refreshments will be on hand. The workshop will be facilitated by SEH Inc. – the company that has been chosen to handle the project. More info here.
