Sue Foley sings with a purr-to-growl vocal style. Born and raised in Ottawa, Foley is one of the leading artists in contemporary blues. From 1992–2005, Foley released 11 albums. Her newest release, in 2007, Time Bomb, has solidified her as one of the best in contemporary blues. Foley’s original songs are punctuated by her biting, shiver-inducing lead guitar work. RACE: Brown Hut Barstool Races | Contestants build a contraption, made from a barstool and skis, and race down a hill. Rules, regulations, and more info is located at the tavern. Racers and pushers must sign a waiver before competing. Prizes for fastest sled and best in show will be awarded. (Brown Hut Tavern, CF; Sat/1pm)

MUSIC: Mardi Gras Live Southern Jazz and Cajun Food Buffet | Head down to Carson Park's Birch St. picnic area for an icy race around a frozen lake. Course length depends on lake conditions. Self studded tires are highly recommended. (Haymarket Grill; Sat/5pm-2am)
