Ever since Flavor of India closed down a few years back, many Chippewa Vallians have been aching for some Indian cuisine. It’s consistently the most requested genre of foodstuff when V1 asks readers what kind of eatery they’d like to see open up around here. Well, we gotta give Porter’s Bar and Restaurant their propers for responding. Attached to the Ramada in downtown Eau Claire, Porter’s recently added new ethnic foods to its menu – including a new Indian buffet on Sundays (available from 5-9pm). V1 staffers who’ve sample the buffet, say it’s some spicy good stuff. Meanwhile, Porter’s regular menu now features Indian, Arabian, and Mexican items. Anyone else tried it?
