Anyone that attended the 30th annual Decadent Cabaret at The House of Rock back in March probably noticed the dude with what appeared to be a make-shift Steadycam, filming the historic rock action.

Well the dude was Randy House (one of the locals behind the feature film Big Star, to be released this fall), and he officially released the first of his footage via YouTube this week.

Randy said his original plan was to film a documentary on the 30th annual event, that would include tons of performance footage and interviews. "But with so many of the bands doing covers and the legal issues involved with that, I kinda ditched the plan," he wrote in an e-mail.

Now Randy's plan is to post a one-song video for all the bands that performed (including Jim Pullman Band doing Pixies, Meridene doing Fleetwood Mac, Flags Will Cover the Coffins doing Metallica, and Laarks doing U2). The debut video shows Dardevil Christopher Wright, whose Beatles set included seminal B-side Hey Bulldog!
