Two guys get temporarily high!

There’s a nice little police report on LeaderTelegram.com today about a couple of jokers who decided to climb up 175 feet onto one of those cranes by Luther Hospital so they could watch that great, life-giving fireball we call the sun crest the horizon of our little green plant and bath them in the fresh, glowing light of a brand new day, rife with possibilities.
Unfortunately, a policeman on a megaphone was called in to kill their (no doubt totally natural) buzz. Says the L-T:
- Police were called at 3:19 a.m. Wednesday to the Luther Hospital construction site at 1221 Whipple St., by hospital security and found the two atop the construction cranes. Using a loudspeaker, police called for the two to come down. Wagner complied, but Bergerson refused to come down until 5:30 a.m., at which time he became combative with officers.
And if being “combative” weren’t enough, the two dudes also unscrewed some light bulbs. The nerve! They are now sitting in the (sad, tired, old, cramped) Eau Claire County jail awaiting a bunch of charges.
