Like many media outlets, the Leader-Telegram is running an AP story about the “gun-friendly picnic” to be held at Marvin Gardens Park in the town of Onalaska. And the L-T’s headline takes the cake, yo.

Organizers say the picnic is a big “Hell, yeah!” to celebrate the state Attorney General’s positive opinions on a citizen’s rights to openly carry guns and not get a ticket for it. The organizers also say that “the picnic is open to everyone, including children, and those who don't want to bring a gun.” So if you’re a kid and you love eating hotdogs around dudes with one or more Glocks holstered upon themselves, this is the picnic for you.

The La Crosse County sheriff says people are legally entitled to host such a gun-tastic picnic.
