I grabbed a quick shot of the chopper taking off from the new roof-top helipad at Luther/Midelfort. Its way cooler than the old location over by the river.  Everyone in the parking lot stopped to watch it leave. The way the blades sound chopping through the air as they ramp up, the pitch getting higher and higher as it starts to lift off is fairly exciting. Seriously, it feels like its some rich guy or rock band taking off or arriving. You know, instead of sick or seriously injured people. Just another feather in the cap of downtown excitement... or something.
