The folks over at Only In Your State have made a special Wisconsin version of 12 places to visit this winter

The list includes winter-only adventures like Wolfsong Adventures in Mushing which is a business that lets you experience dog sledding firsthand, as well as the Alpine Valley Resort for some downhill skiing.

If skiing and dog sledding aren't to your liking the list also includes fun winter events such as the Racine Big Chill Snow and Ice Festival and Ice Skating at the Tenney Park Shelter in Madison.

As a bonus, the list also mentions the Apostle Islands in La Pointe which the website Thrillist listed as the most beautiful place in Wisconsin.

My favorite on the list has to be the Bigfoot Zipline Tours which I didn't realize was a winter thing until just moments ago, but now I can't wait to try it out. However I think my number one place this winter is going to be "in front of the fireplace."

What would YOU add to the list?
