Buckshot Run for Special Olympics
Join us for the 34th Annual Leader-Telegram Buckshot Run benefitting the local Special Olympics program on Saturday, September 3rd for a two (2)-or-five (5) mile run (or both!) through beautiful Carson Park! This run/walk is ranked among one of the top 10 races in Wisconsin. Both events are family friendly, yet tough enough for hard-core competitors. 100% of the money raised from the race stays locally to help 1,000 local Special Olympic athletes with intellectual disabilities train and compete in sports year-round. After the race, enjoy concessions, music, race results and an awards ceremony during the "Party in the Park". Can't make the Saturday event? Then enjoy our 2 mile run on Tuesday, August 30th. Prices vary upon date of your registration. Volunteers always needed. Contact Karen if you, your friends and/or family can help support this great cause (even if it's for a couple of hours). kkraus@specialolympicswisconsin.org
Held in late August/early September.
