Dig Deep with Wyatt Thomson
Formed in 2015 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Dig Deep draws inspiration from traditional bluegrass, country music, and rock and roll, earned through combined decades in punk and metal scenes. With three releases and 1,000+ shows, they have established themselves as a unique force in the roots world, known for their hard-edged sound and blistering live performances.
Wyatt Thomson, a Chippewa Valley artist, released his debut record Sad Records & Country Tunes on Philville Records in 2024. He has performed at Boats & Bluegrass Music Festival and Great River Folk Festival, and has shared the stage with national touring artists Charlie Parr and Willy Tea Taylor. His sound draws from 1950s Midwest honky tonks and the influence of Tom Waits.
