Clean Plate Club is a Minneapolis pop/soul and jazz-funk band bringing infectious grooves, rich harmonies, and high-energy performances. Drawing inspiration from 70s legends like Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, and Tower of Power, as well as modern funk revivalists Cory Wong, Couch, and Lawrence, the band delivers a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh.

Formed by University of Minnesota Jazz I students, Clean Plate Club won their first round at the U of M Battle of the Bands in early 2025 and earned a spot at Spring Jam 2025. They released their debut single "Tourist Trap," a bright, groove-heavy track capturing their signature blend of tight rhythm sections and soulful hooks. The band has performed at Minneapolis venues including White Squirrel, Day Block, and Amsterdam Bar & Hall.
