Author Presentation of "Tailspin: An Extraordinary WWII Story of Survival"
"Tailspin" tells the remarkable true story of Wisconsin native Eugene Moran, a B-17 Flying Fortress tail gunner whose bomber was shot down over Germany during World War II. Trapped inside the aircraft's severed tail section, Moran survived an incredible four-mile fall without a parachute. He went on to endure 17 months as a prisoner of war, including brutal POW camps and a 600-mile forced march across Europe.
Author John Armbruster will have copies of the book available for sale.
