An explainer with an FAQ on Data Centers in Wisconsin. This is an educational event put on by the Eau Claire County Data Center Action Team. They will showcase the different types of data centers, common arguments for and against their construction, and evaluate things like economic impact, human health impact, environmental considerations, factors for site selection, etc. This event is intended for a general audience and is geared to equip people with an understanding of what a future with transparency, accountability, and protection from data centers could look like.
