Events Calendar

Learn about resonances in astronomy and in music, from moons orbiting gas giant planets to overtones on a violin string. A physics and astronomy professor will discuss the effects from repeating interactions. Held in the warm classroom in Hobbs Observatory at Beaver Creek Reserve. If skies are clear, look through telescopes after the 8pm talk (9-10pm) and for 20 minutes before the talk.
