Dr. L. Joe Stucky founded the center in 1959 and has left a local legacy honored by current staff and patients across the Chippewa Valley. His daughter, Dr. Pam Stucky-LaGuardia, began work at the clinic as a teenager and later became a chiropractor.

Now semi-retired, she continues to see families whose connection to Stucky reaches back decades. “One adjustment given at the right time, in the right place, in the right direction, provided the impetus for a total embrace of chiropractic,” the Stucky family shared.

While its roots run deep, the practice continues to evolve, Dr. Hall said. Stucky Chiropractic’s spinal rejuvenation therapy (SRT) program uses objective findings to improve spinal function, correct underlying structural problems and measure progress over time.

The practice also offers spinal decompression, SoftWave tissue regeneration technology — which activates dormant stem cells to stimulate the body’s natural healing process — and low-level laser therapy.

Each of these services gives its doctors options to individualize care for any patient who walks through Stucky Chiropractic’s doors. Through it all, patient education and transparency remain central to these approaches.

“Patients understand what we are doing and why we are doing it,” Dr. Hall said. “That’s really what we thrive on.”

Today, Stucky Chiropractic has six chiropractors and a team of approximately 15; each brings something different to the practice and its services. Clinic Director Dr. Brian Becker, a co-owner since 1995, worked and trained directly with Dr. Stucky — he provides a unique link between the practice’s beginnings and today.

Another co-owner, Dr. Kyle Anderson, came to Stucky with visions for a group practice and the opportunity to make a greater community impact. As a result, he has brought the knowledge and application of spinal rejuvenation therapy to the clinic.

Dr. Chris Edwards, in turn, brings a perspective shaped by 20 years of military service, a background in athletics and coaching — plus additional training in the Graston Technique to reduce chronic muscle pain.

Dr. Rob Devine, an Eau Claire native with six years of chiropractic experience — and the newest doctor to join the team — represents yet another chapter in the practice’s future.

“I consider this to be home in the Eau Claire area,” Dr. Devine said. “Stucky is the longest-standing chiropractic clinic in Eau Claire and has a really good reputation within the community.”

With these different backgrounds and perspectives, each of the six doctors carry forward values established in 1959 at Stucky Chiropractic — all while embracing new technology and approaches to care.

“There are so many different ways we can help patients get well,” Dr. Devine said. “We want the community to be as healthy as possible.”
