The Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra (ECCO) will kick off its 2026-2027 season with “Music from Prague” on at 2:30pm on Sunday, Sept. 20 at the Pablo Center at the Confluence (128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire).

ECCO director Dr. Matthew Poon, assistant professor of music at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, will perform music influenced by the beautiful city of Prague, the capital of historical Bohemia and modern-day Czechia.

These include Antonín Dvořák’s “Serenade in D Minor,” Rybař or “The Fisherman” by Bedrich Smetana, Leopold Kozeluch’s “Symphony in G Minor” and Mozart’s “Symphony No. 38” in D Major, nicknamed the “Prague.”

Prior to the performance, attendees can enjoy a pre-concert talk at 2pm in the JAMF Theatre to learn more about the compositions that will follow.
