Pablo Foundation Awards $596K To Regional Orgs & Initiatives
not quite halfway through the year, Pablo Foundation has gifted funds in support of nearly two dozen organizations
In its May 22 grants and financial gifting announcement, Pablo Foundation acknowledged its nearly $600,000 total funding dispersal may not have funded “every request” it received – but it’s another significant step in supporting the wider community.
A dozen area organizations were awarded – grants ranged from $14K to over $100K, totaling $577,425 in funding – through the Pablo Foundation’s annual Spring Grant Cycle.
Those beneficiaries included Eau Claire Sober Living, to fund its Men’s Recovery Housing Programs; the Sherman Steering Committee to fund the Sherman Elementary School’s playground revamp project; Power of Perception, to expand and enhance its programming; the Fall Creek Public Library project, among others.
Pablo Foundation’s Fall Grant Cycle will open in August, accepting requests between $10,000 to $250,000. (Eligibility details can be found here.)
Over the first two quarters of the year, Pablo Foundation has gifted over $19,000 through its Business Directed Giving (BDG) initiative.
Among those ten organizations, each awarded between $1,400-$2,000, included the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, the Good Shepherd Senior Apartments, Fierce Freedom, Power Up Eau Claire and others.

The next BDG opportunity – open exclusively to those organizations with an active 501(c)(3) designation – will open in June.
Since its founding in 2017, the Pablo Foundation has gifted over $20 million to area organizations (largely across its four main focus areas: health, housing, education and the arts). In 2024 alone, it gifted almost $4 million and introduced a new initiative: the Nonprofit Empowerment Workshop (NEW) Series.
That series, among other certificate programs, workshops and more offerings, continue to be offered throughout each year. Learn more about the Pablo Foundation's offerings online.
