Wayne Cordery is a retired Attorney who moved to Eau Claire in 2017. He discovered his love of painting later in life. Acrylic on canvas is his medium of choice.
“Viking Landing” (2025) • 20" x 24" • Acrylic on canvas • About the artwork, from the artist: " 'Viking Landing' is a 20” x 24” acrylic on canvas piece I painted in January 2025. This painting is a “display only” piece of art because parts of it were from a picture I saw on-line by an unknown artist. I altered various features of the Viking warrior and created what I thought to be an appropriate Norse background. This is my version of a bold picture I ran across by accident. In all my paintings, whether they are a warrior, landscape, or something totally different, I strive to portray boldness, strength, power, and minute detail.
