E.C. Chamber Orchestra to Finish November With 'A Tale of Two Mozarts'
Dr. Matthew Poon will direct, performance to feature guest soloist Christine Harada Li
The Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra (ECCO), led by Dr. Matthew Poon, will present A Tale of Two Mozarts at the Pablo Center (128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire) at 2pm on Sunday, Nov. 16. The concert will feature Mozart’s Overture to the Marriage of Figaro and the Turkish violin concerto with soloist Christine Harada Li. ECCO will also perform Symphony in D by Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, dubbed the Spanish Mozart.
Violinist Christine Harada Li is a versatile artist with an international career as a performer, educator, and arts leader. Recently, she was a featured soloist with the University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra, Marquette Symphony Orchestra, and the Anchorage Youth Symphony. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of music degree from the University of Michigan, completed her master of music degree at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover, Germany, and her doctorate in musical arts (DMA) at the University of Michigan.
Tickets are $30/person for those ages 21-plus; admission is free for those under the age of 21.
