J. Bradley | The Bespoke House Brings Old-World Tailoring to Eau Claire
A modern sartorial house focused on custom tailoring, curated gatherings, and refinement in every detail

It's no secret that Eau Claire has its fair share of hidden gems – places you don’t always hear about, but that, once discovered, forever change the way you see the area.
J. Bradley | The Bespoke House is on the cusp of becoming one of those quiet secrets. A private, by-appointment-only space created for those who value quality clothing and accessories, refinement in every detail, and an experience so distinctive it begs to be shared.
At the heart of this creation is founder Jared Jaquish, a Chippewa Falls native and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire graduate who has spent the better part of a decade immersed in the world of men’s tailoring.
After graduating with a degree in marketing, Jaquish launched his career with the world’s largest custom clothing manufacturer. For nearly 9 years, he honed his craft, working one-on-one with clients across Minneapolis and the Midwest, learning the nuances of the industry.
"I'd like to think that what I'm building here in Eau claire is one of those quiet secrets in the making."

“It was an invaluable experience,” Jaquish says, “and one I’m truly grateful for. But I eventually felt called to step away and build something of my own from the ground up – something that reflects what I believe clients truly deserve, not only in the product itself, but in the relationship and the overall experience that comes with their clothing investment.”
That decision meant returning to his roots and addressing a gap he had long observed in Wisconsin’s smaller metro areas. Growing up in the Chippewa Valley, Jaquish saw firsthand that men were willing to invest in quality clothing – but they often had nowhere local to turn for the kind of experience they truly desired. For years, many had to drive to the likes of Minneapolis for something more refined, more personal; an experience that felt less like a transaction and more like an experience.

“Men around here don’t lack taste,” Jaquish said. “They lack access to options that feel like a true investment, and an experience that makes them want to return and share it with others.”
This belief became the foundation for The Bespoke House. Jaquish envisioned a space where fine clothing never feels like an errand or obligation, but a distinctive experience to look forward to
Step inside the new showroom in Eau Claire’s Valley Commons building just off of Clairemont Ave., and the outside world begins to fade: warm lighting, quiet conversation, a poured refreshment. Instead of hurried fittings or pushy sales pitches, clients experience a relaxed, intentional process centered entirely on them: their style, their fit, their lifestyle, their experience.
Jaquish describes it as “a modern sartorial house” – a place where great conversation and great clothing go hand-in-hand, and where people can enjoy the finer things in life. The showroom is outfitted with fine garments, curated accessories, hand picked artwork and decor, and an atmosphere designed for people who value privacy, quality, and craftsmanship.
“It’s not just about the clothes,” Jaquish said. “It’s about the relationship and making people feel truly taken care of. Generations ago, men had a tailor who provided this. I wanted to bring that back, but reimagine it in a way that feels modern and deeply personal.”

The Bespoke House is styled like a speakeasy: private, discreet, and discussed by those in the know. It’s the kind of place one might look forward to visiting in the same way Wisconsin folks anticipate the woods, the water, or their favorite favorite bar. The stress of the week slows; time stretches. The experience becomes meaningful and shared about for years to come.
Most men don’t want to spend their weekends wandering shopping malls and picking through racks of clothing, Jaquish said. “At the end of the day, men want an experience that doesn’t feel like a hassle, and a quality product that comes with their investment.”
While The Bespoke House is being built for clients in Eau Claire and Wisconsin metros, Jaquish also sees it as a destination for those farther away or visiting Eau Claire as a getaway.
“This city has always had creative energy across a variety of industries,” he said. “What I wanted to add in the Eau Claire area was access to a level of tailoring and an experience that once required leaving town.
“If I can give people here something they’d usually have to travel for, then I’ve done my job,” he continued. “And if someone is traveling through and feels this is a place they have to experience before leaving, then I have definitely done my job.”
The Bespoke House is more than a showroom – it’s a sanctuary for clothing and connection, a place to slow down and rediscover the art of personal style. And it’s only the beginning.
As Jaquish puts it: “I’d like to think that what I’m building here in Eau Claire is one of those quiet secrets in the making.”
