RAW AND REAL: A Decade Of The Ride Across Wisconsin
1,000 cyclists will participate in 180-mile or 100-mile ride through the Midwest’s rolling hills
V1 Staff |

Cyclists in the Chippewa Valley are preparing for an unforgettable riding experience as they celebrate the 10th Annual Ride Across Wisconsin (RAW).
Scheduled to commence bright and early at 6am on July 12th, this year's RAW promises a journey through the rolling hills and countryside that define this region of the Midwest. 1,000 cyclists of all skill levels will participate in either the 180-mile or 100-mile option of the ride.
All riders will roll out from Phoenix Park (330 Riverfront Terrace, Eau Claire) and meander through Wisconsin’s rich landscapes and history through stops at local orchards, farms, breweries, and more.
Participants can also expect fully supported routes, including mechanical support, volunteer aid stations — with cheers from friends, family, and community along the way.
Historically, previous years' of RAW have been point-to-point across the state; however, this year's ride will feature different loops around regions of Wisconsin. As the event evolves looking to the future, these “victory laps" will allow cyclists to experience timeless landscapes throughout the state.
To conclude the two rides, cyclists will return to Phoenix Park for a good old celebration — open to residents of the Chippewa Valley — to celebrate the culmination of this annual ride.
Whether you’re a seasoned long-distance rider or a recreational cyclist looking for a scenic day out, the 10th anniversary of RAW will offer a blend of both challenge and enjoyment.
