As an artist who occasionally stands on the ephemeral shoulders of artists before our time, I’d like to offer a respectful nod here to Smeeton & Tilly (c. 1880) who created the gravure rendering of Phoebe, a Titan moon goddess, from a marble statue carved by an unknown sculptor from around the same era, or earlier.
