E.C. Chamber Orchestra Season Finale to Feature UWEC Professors

May 10 show will bring guest conductor Dr. Tulio Rondon, guest artist Dr. Christine Harada Li to the stage

Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra (ECCO) will close its 2024-2025 season with Classical Viennese Giants on Saturday, May 10, at 7:30pm in the RCU Theater at The Pablo Center at the Confluence (128  Graham Ave., Eau Claire).

Dr. Tulio Rondón, professor of music-cello string area coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UW-Eau Claire), will be the guest conductor. Both a cellist and gambist, Rondón is originally from Venezuela and is known for his vivid and passionate performances. UW-Eau Claire's Dr. Christine Harada Li, a versatile violinist with a distinguished international career, will perform Beethoven's Romance for Violin and Orchestra as the guest artist.

Other works from Vienna performed by ECCO will include Mozart’s Divertimento in D KV 136 (125a), Haydn’s Symphony No. 88 in G, and Marianna Martines’ Sinfonia in C Major.

Tickets to the May 10 Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra show can be purchased online at pablocenter.org. Adult tickets are $29 plus taxes and fees; Tickets for those ages 21 and under are free plus taxes and fees.
