Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon sat down for a late-night TV interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon yesterday, April 2, to chat the band's forthcoming album, SABLE, fABLE and more – including a heartwarming voicemail from his neighbor in Eau Claire.

"You're famously from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where you were born and raised," Fallon said. "We have a voicemail that you got from one of your neighbors, and, man, if this doesn't say everything to you just about how close and how kind of small and fun it is over there."

Vernon's neighbors heard "Skinny Love" – from Bon Iver's 2007 debut album For Emma, Forever Ago – on NBC's The Voice, and called to let him know.

"Hey, Justin, this is Brian, your neighbor," the voicemail begins. "Just thought I'd let you know on The Voice tonight there's a couple of girls singing "Skinny Girl" on there. Just thought I'd let you know, if you're around, it's on The Voice tonight, Channel 13. Talk to you later, have a good day. Bye."

Of course, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who lives in the Eau Claire area and doesn't know "Skinny Love" – or, as the voicemail says, "Skinny Girl." Now that's just wholesome neighbor vibes, right there.

Bon Iver's highly-anticipated fifth studio album – the band's first in six years – SABLE, fABLE drops on Friday, April 11. Keep up with the band on online for future updates.
