The Eau Claire Community Foundation (ECCF) announced a brand-new grant now open to area nonprofits: the Community Health Grant.
"The Community Health Grant Cycle is supported by Funds entrusted to ECCF by the HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital Foundation after its departure from the region," a recent media release said.
Eau Claire area nonprofits may apply for grants of up to $10,000 through the new initiative, now through June 13. The grant will support programs and asset purchases that will help organizations meet the health needs and/or reduce health disparities in the Eau Claire area.
According to the media release, projects must "align with Catholic values and address crucial community health needs" to be considered.
The Women's Giving Circle, which also provides a fund through ECCF, is offering grants up to $7,500 for Eau Claire area nonprofits that work to enhance the wellbeing of local women and children. Grant applications for the Women's Giving Circle grant are open now through June 2.
