ALL THE BUZZ: Inaugural Local Bee Expo Slated for April 12
Chippewa Valley Bee Expo to feature 40+ exhibitors, family-friendly programming

The Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds will be host to to the first-ever Chippewa Valley Bee Expo on Saturday, April 12, featuring presentations and seminars on a variety of bee-related topics.
The event will feature more than 40 exhibitions with demonstrations and presentations set to cover topics ranging from pollinator-friendly yard and garden creation, beginning beekeeping, cooking honey, and more. The Expo will be emceed by longtime local journalist Keith Edwards.
“Our Expo covers a range of topics including pollinators, healthy living, and living without harm to the environment,” said Galen Klisiewicz, president of nonprofit organization Chippewa Valley Bee Expo. “The Expo will be fun and interesting to people of all ages and backgrounds, and it’s all part of our commitment to encourage sustainable practices that benefit both people and nature.”
Tickets are $15/person with free entry for youths ages 10 and under and are available for purchase at Festival Foods (Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire locations) as well as online. Attendees can expect food trucks, raffles, youth programming, and the appearance of Wisconsin Honey Queen Emily Sydow.
