Roshan Karki is a Nepali graphic designer and illustrator based in Eau Claire.
“The Joynt” (2024) 11” x 13” Digital Art by Roshan Karki • From the artist: “My work encapsulates the energy of jazz and the solemn mood of gritty nightlife. I chose to depict a local bar called The Joynt. Known for its welcoming vibe, eclectic crowd, and live music that fills the air, The Joynt embodies the spirit of a true neighborhood spot: unpretentious, warm, and alive with conversation, laughter, and the hum of late-night camaraderie. Legendary musicians have performed, and their music still fills the building. It is a cornerstone of our community, and I wanted to capture its essence as such.”
