Minnesota Wire was named Business of the Year at the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce’s fourth annual Bravo to Business event on Wednesday, Oct. 23. The first was among 12 local businesses that had been named as finalists in four categories. According to the chamber, “To be considered for one of these awards, the organization must set standards for excellence and innovation in their business practices and community involvement.”

Minnesota Wire, 2515 Prospect Drive, Eau Claire, manufactures customer wire and cable for medical, industrial, space, and defense purposes. The other finalists in the Business of the Year category were Aurora Community Services and Green Oasis.

The other awards presented at the event included:

  • Emerging Business of the Year: Helix Wine, Craft Bar & Cafe (other finalists were BONDS CoWork + Social Club and MaidPro).
  • Resilient Business of the Year: OakLeaf Medical Network Inc. (other finalists were L.E. Phillips Career Development Center and Wendel).
  • Small Business of the Year: Atmosphere Commercial Interiors (other finalists were Coulee Tech and Midwest Select Insurance Group).

Bravo to Business drew about 270 chamber supporters to a dinner at the Florian Gardens Conference Center in Eau Claire.

Nominations for the 2025 Bravo to Business awards will open next June. Anyone can nominate a business, and businesses can nominate themselves.
